H1N1 Flu- Epidemic induced by Illness Star 2?

The H1N1 swine flu virus has already been identified as a new virus, with genes from human and avian flus as well as the swine variety. Since its large-scale outbreaks in Mexico & across US from April'09, it has now travelled fast & furious to countries as far as Hong Kong, to Australia and even here in Singapore. Therefore in recent months the virus has been raised to pandemic status.

Based on the feng shui Xuan Kong Flying Stars theory, it suggests that the energies of environment around the world change over time. It is always the environmental "Chi" which affects the bigger picture that is strongest. So in 2009, we know that with the illness star 2 occupying the West sector of space, this part of continents, countries and homes get affected most by illness. In other words, sickness will affect the Western side of a house, a city, a country or even Western side of the world.

The virus originate from Mexico which is in the Far West of the world, and Mexico City is on the Western side of Mexico. The outbreak started in April which is the 3rd month of lunar Ox Year (5 Apr ~ 5 May), the monthly flying star chart shows that misfortune star 5 arrives in the West, bringing the worst pair of stars 2 & 5 together in the West. This indicates serious illness and disaster, and the sickness indicated is related to the lungs.

From feng shui viewpoint, it is advisable to apply remedies to suppress this illness star in the West sector of your home. The Wu Lou is one of the most potent symbols for good health (see attached picture). Placed by your bedside it is effective in keeping illness at bay, it is an excellent symbol for preventing illness manifestation, especially if your room is located in West sector of the house.

How Yin & Yang Principle Applys to Global Crisis?

As you may know the word "crisis" is written in Chinese with two characters: "danger" (危) and "opportunity" (机), therefore the Yin and the Yang also represent the end of an old system creates opportunity for new exciting things... it brings back the Balance!
So this also means every crisis is loaded with opportunity; it creates disasters but also offers opportunities for growth. There is no just "bad" things, everything has some usefulness. Since we have to live through this crisis, why don't we take time to focus on all the opportunities we have.
Current modern life is out of balance as indicated by the economic crisis and the H1N1 virus which have hit the world badly. In order to restore the balance, the modern world needs to recognise and embrace the brilliance of the ancient laws of Feng Shui. We, as Feng Shui practitioners have a great opportunity to use Feng Shui to heal the world, bring some balance into people's lives and creating a better world.

Feng Shui Tips for Office (Part I)

Tip #1 (Never Have a Window Behind You)
When there is a window behind you (where you sit), it implies a lack of support for your ideas or recommendations, especially if your office is on a high floor in high rise building. Repositioning your desk or camouflage the window with thick blinds or curtains will help.

Tip #2 (Activate the Black Turtle)
The turtle/tortoise is regarded as a celestial protector who also signifies longevity of situations within a work scenario. You may want to introduce a Dragon Tortoise on your work desk as it helps to ensure you have longevity of employment. You will be protected from being made redundant.

Tip #3 (Block Protruding Corners with Plants)
If you happen to be sitting near a protruding corner whose edge (poison arrow) sends out harmful killing energy, it is best to place a tall potted plant to camouflage the edge.

Tip #4 (Display a Fierce Rooster to Subdue Office Politics)
One of the most effective feng shui cures for dealing with dangerous and hurtful office gossip is to place a masculine fierce rooster at your work place. The rooster will almost instantly cause bad talks to subside.

Tip #5 (Prosperity Signature Brings Abundance)
Design & develop your own prosperity signature which start with an upward stroke and if possible, also end with an upward stroke. You can have as many ups & downs to your signature, but always end with an upward stroke.

Three Symbols of Victory

Introducing the Three Symbols of Victory very commonly seen & used in most Tibetan buddhist temples or homes. Currently it is also introduced in fengshui practice as a powerful remedy to fight against disharmony and disagreement.
The fur bearing fish is the son of a fish and an otter. He has the overall body of a fish, but with an otter's fur. It is one of the "Symbols of Victory" that fight against disharmony and disagreement. Fur bearing fish helps to bring better relations in business.

The makara dragon is the son of a snail and a crocodile. His whole body is firm like a snail shell. He is also generally regarded as the son of a union between crocodile, dragon, and snake. His tail forms entwined patterns. This is one of the "Symbols of Victory" that fight against disharmony and disagreement. Makara Dragon ensures harmony in the home.

The eight legged lion is the son of a union of a garuda and a lion. He has the overall body of a lion, [but] with two wings. He has claws at the knees. This is one of the "Symbols of Victory" that fight against disharmony and disagreement. Eight legged lion enhances harmony in the office.

In 2009, it is best to display this three symbols of victory in the Northeast sector of your home or office to suppress the bad energy caused by the Argumentative Star #3 which brings disharmony, misunderstanding and court cases.

Importance of KUA Number

Steps in determining Personal KUA number:
